AEP Hawaii has been retained to hire an elite Data Scientist to join a growing Hawaii-based AI SaaS start-up.

Responsibilities & Background

5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist and/or Machine learning in a start-up / high-growth SaaS environment
Previous Seed-Series D start-up or small/medium company experience is required (can’t be too siloed)
Experience with analytical model development is required
Candidate must have product acumen, think independently, and bring ideas to the tale
Experience with ML Ops and developing production ML systems
Experience driving scale & implementation and creating new models & frameworks
Tooling: SQL is required. Python, Airflow, Tableau, matplotlib, ggplot are nice to haves
Experience with Python ML ecosystem (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn).
Experience with churn prediction systems, data driven analysis, customer analytics, and/or building datasets from various sources
Cloud experience nice to have (AWS, Spark)
BA in Computer Science, quantitative field, mathematics, statistics

Location: Hawaiian Islands

Pay: 140-190K + equity
